To provide financial assistance for research programmes.
In 1993, the Parker B Francis Foundation provided an endowment to the American Respiratory Care Foundation to make funds available to provide financial assistance for research programmes.
Open to qualified investigators in the field of respiratory care. The principal investigator may be a physician or respiratory therapist. However, a respiratory therapist must be the co-principal investigator if a physician is the principal applicant for the award.
The amount and frequency of this award is at the discretion of the Board of Trustees of the American Respiratory Care Foundation and dependent upon the quality of the proposals.
