ADA Foundation Allied Dental Student Scholarships

To defray study expenses including tuition fees, books and living expenses.

Eligibility
Open to citizens of the United States of America only. Applicants must either be entering their 1st year (dental assisting) or final year (dental laboratory technology and dental hygiene). Applicants must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 based on a 4.0 scale and show financial need of at least US$1,000.

Up to $135,000 total funding.
Application procedure
Application forms are available from the dental hygiene, dental laboratory technology and dental assisting programme directors, and are distributed by school officials. Application forms must be original, typed, completed and signed with the assistance of school officials. Applicants must submit a completed application form, including the Academic Achievement Record Form and Financial Needs Assessment Form signed by school officials, two typed reference forms sealed and noted on the back of the envelopes by the referees and a typed biographical sketch.
