Rotch Travelling Scholarship
Awarded by Boston Society of Architects (BSA)
Purpose
To provide young architects with the opportunity to travel and study in foreign countries.
The scholar is selected through a two-stage design competition. The first year of professional experience required should be completed prior to the beginning of the preliminary competition. Scholars are required to return to the United States of America after the duration of the scholarship and submit a report of their travels.
Eligibility
Open to United States of America architects who will be under 35 years of age on January 1 of the competition year and hold a degree from an accredited U.S. school of architecture and one year of full-time professional experience in a Massachusetts architecture firm as of January 1 of the competition year.
