Association of American Geographers (AAG)
The Association of American Geographers (AAG) is a non-profit organization founded in 1904 to advance professional studies in geography and to encourage the application of geographic research in business, education and government. The AAG was amalgamated with the American Society of Professional Geographers (ASPG) in 1948.

AAG NSF International Geographical Union Conference Travel Grants
$1,250 each to junior scholars, including graduate students and $1,000 each to senior scholars.Closes: February 4th (to submit abstract); March 1st (to attend conference) -
Visiting Geographical Scientist Program
US$100 per institutional visit to each visiting scientist and will reimburse the visitor up to US$600 for travel costs to and from the area of the institutions visited.
