American Academy in Rome
The American Academy in Rome is the only American overseas centre for independent study and advanced research in the fine arts and the humanities. It provides a unique opportunity for interaction between artists and scholars working in up to 18 different disciplines. The Academy offers a number of fellowships, residencies and grants for visiting artists and scholars, as well as organizing a variety of events, including concerts, readings, symposia and exhibitions.
