American Heart Association (AHA)

The American Heart Association (AHA) is a non-profit, voluntary health organization funded by private contributions. Its mission is to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular diseases and stroke. To support this goal, the Association has given more than US$2 billion to heart and blood vessel research since 1949.
